Shri Bara Jyotirling Temple
Shri Bara Jyotirling Temple is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, located in the town of Salasar. It is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for devotees of Hanuman across India. The temple is unique because the idol of Balaji (Hanuman) has a beard and moustache, which is rarely seen in other temples.
Thousands of devotees visit the temple every day to seek blessings for strength, success, and protection. The temple becomes especially crowded during the Chaitra and Ashwin Purnima fairs, which attract large gatherings of pilgrims. Devotees often offer coconuts, sweets, and perform special prayers as part of their rituals.
